The future of intersectional Black British Art
Black British art embodies the fusion of African and Black Diaspora influences, representing the voluntary and involuntary movement of Africans and their descendants worldwide throughout modern and pre-modern periods. It intricately weaves the narrative of Britain and British identity through the lived experiences of Black British artists. Unfortunately, our diverse Black British history often falls under the influence of Western institutions, dictating visual artistry and literature. At the Hub, we understand and encourage the influences of Black British History through Afro-Latin, African, and Caribbean Culture through spoken word and visual arts.
The Black Art Hub seeks to empower artists and poets, encouraging all media and giving visibility to their voices. We invite non-Black artists and British institutions to join us in discussions on Technology and British Arts, management, narration, and pathways for the next generation. Rooted in Black nationality, heritage, culture, politics, and activism, The Black Art Hub proudly celebrates Black British Arts authentically, acknowledging their vital contribution to British History and Art.

Gone are the days when a single black individual represents the entire community. We advocate for inclusivity, urging organisations to collaborate with us in establishing spaces that promote accessibility and visibility for all.
